McMillan Advisory Group (MAG) meeting notice

The following announcement was just sent to members of the Our McMillan mailing list.

Some of you recently attended Councilmember Thomas's September 30th meeting about the future of the McMillan Sand Filtration Site. During the presentations, the regular meetings of the McMillan Advisory Group (MAG) were mentioned.

We learned yesterday that the latest meeting of the MAG will be held tonight at St. George's Episcopal Church (160 U Street NW) at 7:00 PM. Councilmember Thomas gave every indication that these meetings are open to the public, so residents and interested citizens should feel free to listen in and observe how the MAG operates. If you are able to attend, please consider replying to this message with your comments about the meeting. A knowledgeable and engaged community is the key to a successful project coming to McMillan
